Ergo Cup winners named

Ergo Cup winners at the 2006 Applied Ergonomics Conference earlier this month were Sunrise Medical in the Team-Driven Workplace Solutions category and Johnson & Johnson/France in the Training & Education category.
Sunrise Medical won for its entry Ergo Assembly Station. The team built a flexible and height-adjustable assembly station that includes a built-in electrical power source. The fixture docks and unlocks at the start and finish of the assembly process line.
Johnson & Johnson/France won for its entry Ergo Shop Book & Safety Sheets. The book describes ergonomic risks and how to prevent them. The safety sheets are used as a training tool for temporary employees.
A 12-member panel judged the Ergo Cup awards.
