Engineering show seeks hosts

A TV show that will feature two competing teams of high school students demonstrating their engineering skills is seeking co-hosts.

Interviews for the co-hosts of the show, tentatively titled Design Squad, will be held in Boston this month. Production of the Public Broadcasting Service show will be from June through mid-August.

Each team, mentored by a practicing engineer, will solve an engineering problem by using experimentation and an understanding of math and science.

One host must have an engineering education, while the other needs design and art skills to provide a non-engineer’s view of the content.
